If I could be a scientist ... I’d make it my life’s work to bring holo-decks and matter replicaters a reality.
If I could be a chef ... I would get a job as chief chef at on an exclusive tropical island resort, making fine foods for the rich and famous (or infamous, which would be much more interesting).
If I could be an architect ... I would want to design an entire city which would be build out on the ocean, where Atlantis was expected to have been. It would the pinnacle of modern design. For those of you who have played Final Fantasy 8, remember what Balamb Garden looked like? Well imagine a whole city in those eloquent styles!
If I could be a writer ...I would write the first great South African novel that WASN’T about racism!
If I could be a bonnie pirate ...I’d INVEST my plunders, not bury it!
If I could be married to any current famous political figure ... I would choose George Bush, just to piss him off with the irony of been in a gay marriage! |

These past few days have amounted to little more than living hell. Seeing a place I’ve called home for 2 years getting taken apart is heart-wrenching. Also looking for new places is equally disheartening, every place you go to just reminds you that it isn’t Home. Needless to say that didn’t go well. I’m missing my place already, I don’t want to move at all. It took me a long time to settle in here and feel like I belong somewhere, it’s going to take even longer to settle in somewhere else. :’(
I’m going to be spending some time with my Aunt in PTA, I’m a wreck right now so she’s helping me out both with a roof over my head and a shoulder to cry on, metaphorically anyway. So my next update won’t be for a while. Later everyone, onward and upward, may the Shworts be with you! |

House hunting is interesting. It looks like that I’ll need to take out a bond of I want to buy my own place. Originally I was told that the trust would be doing that, but after 3 emails and countless phone calls to enquire if this was true I was told otherwise. I’m not relishing asking the bank for money, they tend to be rude to students. But whatever, I’ll figure it out. In the mean time I’m also looking at renting, as I want to keep my options open. But anyone will tell you that although rent has lower risk you are throwing your money away, at least if I own I’ll have an asset (also I can renovate it the way I want!). I want to move back to my old neighborhood or at least the surrounding suburbs. That feels more like home than Parkhurst does and I want to be closer to the people I know. (also property is cheaper there :P) |

You Are a New School Democrat |

You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent.
You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats.
Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book.
You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.

I fixed my chair! Yaaaay me! It’s one of those high-back tilt chairs, but the problem was that it tilted, waaaay back. If you sat down too fast you’d roll right off. It’s happened before! ~_~ Anyway I fixed the funny thing that tilts, I tried a few years back but it was stuck, I guess years of abuse by been rocked back and forward from study frustration paid off.
I saw the new Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. I can summarize it in 3 words: Beautiful but boring. If you have a keen eye for animation you must watch this film, just like its predecessor it’s going to set the bar for animation for the next 10 years. However, if you’re looking for an engaging (hell, I’d even settle for interesting) story look elsewhere. Half the script is techno-babble and the other is written like it was taken from a book of quotations. *Yawn*
I got the new Photoshop CS! Weeee! It’s a lot like 7 but it’s a lot more clever! Lots of fun.
I’m going to Goldreef city tomorrow. I’ve never been so I’m looking forward to it. I’ve also never ridden on a real rollercoaster, so that’s going to be interesting… |

Quick question:
If blood is red, why do we have blue blood vessels?
I'm sure there is some annoyingly logical reason for this, but I'm dumbstruck as to what it is. |
